Another great photograph.

I've been meaning to post this photo for some while now.  I got it from this savage place in Savannah.  I often wonder how can people throw away or have no interests in their family pictures.  Maybe I'm the opposite because my family didn't take as many photos.  I've always been envious of people who have loads of family pictures, and the ones with the home videos just blows my mind.

Sweet as can be. Maybe these folks will find themselves on your blog. I'm with you. Family photos are precious.

I'm the same way .... so jealous of people that get to say - "my granny or my grandpa" ... I have managed to collect a few photos but not many. They mean so much!

I have this thought almost every time I scavenge and come across instant ancestors like this that I feel compelled to take home. I'll be in Savannah in a few weeks and would love to do some excavating. any recommendations for places to visit like the salvage spot you mentioned? Fantastic.

I don't know many places here in Savannah. I usually get my photographs from Atlanta, New York or ebay.

I know exactly how you feel, my parents maybe have one home video VHS, and maybe a handful of pictures. With us now in the digital age, it's easier to document our lives.
