The Return of the Jedi

Finally I'm back, to be honest I don't know where I went.    But I do know I experience my first what some would call being "Burnt Out".  One of my problems is I'm always saying yes to people, when it comes to my art.  I'm o.k. with that except I stock pile too much at one time, then I find myself forgetting  what I agreed to do in the first place.  I'm learning now to pace myself and to spread myself out evenly, allow space between each project.  I apologize to everyone  on the receiving end, blame it on my head and not my heart.  I'm not going to keep rambling , just know I back and I'm human ( which I'm just figuring out myself ).  The cape has been folded, place in a box and stored away.

Here's one of the pictures I took while I was in NYC for a solo show at Dillon Gallery.  I chose this picture to post, because it kind of reminds me of how I felt during my burnt out period.

Isn't it nice to know you have been missed?
May I borrow your cape?

Welcome back, Cedric. :) I hear ya' loud & clear on the overcommitment front. I know they like to talk on Oprah about women being "people pleasers" but it sounds like we may be bringing up the male front in that category? ;)

Anyway, get rest, get even. We'll be here.

And, Linda, the cape is ALL YOUR'S!

Glad to see you back! Sometimes we all need to re-group and then come back smarter and hopefully well rested.
